Judith K. Jones joined Butenhof & Bomster, PC in 2007, and focuses her practice in Elder Law. Her experience in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid and other public benefits programs, as well as guardianships, enhances the firm's commitment to comprehensive long-term care planning for all of its clients. Judith brings substantial experience in elder law issues from her statewide practice with New Hampshire Legal Assistance from 1997 to 2006, most recently as the Directing Attorney of the Senior Citizens Law Project.

Judith received her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law in 1994, and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1980. Her strong sense of civic duty motivates a long-standing commitment to systemic change in the rights of our elderly and disabled citizens, most recently involving advocacy on issues relating to the rights of residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She is a founding member of the New Hampshire Elder Rights Coalition and currently serves as Chair of the Advisory Committee for the New Hampshire Long Term Care Ombudsman.

Judith was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1995, and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate section. She also is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) as well as the local New Hampshire Chapter.
